The Tharanganisari School of Music was founded in 1975 to train talented students in various branches of music. The school is recognized by Government of Kerala. It is managed by a society which is registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies ACT XII of 1955. It is situated at Edappazhanji, Kochar Road, Thiruvananthapuram.

THARANGANISARI Carnatic Vocal Music DIPLOMA COURSE
Duration : Three years
Eligibility for admission : S.S.L.C pass and talent in Vocal Music
THARANGANISARI Diploma in other subjects
Carnatic Violin, Veena, Mridangam and Tabala
Highly talented candidates without the minimum qualification also may be admitted, but they will not be eligible to appear for the Diploma examination without S.S.L.C., such candidates on successfully completing the course, will be awarded a Course Certificate.
